Step 1
Decide what kinda of ramp you would like to build whether it is for wheelchairs or BMX Bikes. This is going to be for bikes and/or quads.
-
Step 2
Once built, your fmx ramp will work well at distances anywhere from 30 to 70 feet. The shorter you make it the more mellow the ramp will be, often used for first time bikers. The longer the ramp the harsher the ride might be. Or if you make the ramp wider you can ride a quad up it, but reminder the higher the ramp is the more dangerous that will be.
-
Step 3
The wooden FMX ramp is eight feet tall and 22 feet long.
-
Step 4
With the ramp you can install a crank wheel so you can make the ramp shorter or longer without having to make separate ramps.
-
Step 5
These FMX ramps are set up at 65 feet, to an eleven-foot tall dirt landing. Majority of the bike tricks can be learned on a much smaller gap from 30 - 50 Ft. But it is up to you to know what you want.
