How to Make Web Pages Larger in Firefox

When you run across a site with small words, you have to strain to read. Sometimes you lean into the screen so you can see the text. If you are using Firefox, you can make Web pages larger. When zooming in on text, it's easier to read and you can move away from the computer.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the affected Web page. Make sure it's actually small enough that you need to zoom in, because when you zoom in, you have to scroll up and down more.

    • 2

Hold down "Ctrl" key and scroll the mouse wheel up and down. This will change the size of the text; do this until the text is the proper size.

    • 3

Hold "Ctrl" and press "+" or "-," if your mouse doesn't have a scroll wheel.

    • 4

Select "View," "Zoom" and "Zoom In" on the top of your browser.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't do this to people who don't know how to fix it - this will affect all pages, not just the one you're viewing.
