Dyeing your hair at home is a great way to save money and there are ways to save even more money by having a hair dye party! The most important thing about a hair dye party is to make sure everyone has their own timer that is labeled with their name. It can get confusing and then suddenly the wrong person has the dye in too long ... and BAM... hair falls out. That might be a little dramatic, but its good to be safe. To purchase the hair dye go to a walmart type store ... drug stores tend to have much higher prices. It is also a good idea to use a coupon from the Sunday Ads ... they often have great deals like "save $5.00 on 2 boxes of Clairol Hair Coloring." This way everyone at the party gets a great deal on their hair dye and saves the maximum amount of money! Make sure you are wearing old clothing that you don't mind ruining ... that you put down old towels rather than ruining your bath mats...

Start by mixing and applying the hair dye to the first person..immediately set their alarm for the time the box says they should leave it in dependant upon whether they are touching up, just doing roots, or dyeing for the first time. The person who just had hair dye put in their hair then mixes and applies the hair dye to someone else and so on and so forth. MAKE SURE YOU ARE PAYING ATTENTION TO THE TIMERS AT ALL TIMES! The conditioner that comes with hair dye is always the greatest, so when you put it in leave it in for as long as you want as a deep conditioning treatment.

Drink wine and have snacks and watch a movie or tv while you're doing this and in just an hour or two everyone will have beautiful hair for a very affordable price! Happy dyeing!
