1. Perform an online Google search by typing in the first and last name and last known location of the person that you are trying to find. If you do not know the location, then a name search will be fine. You will get a list of people with similar names who can lead you to the person that you are searching for.

2. Search online phone directories such as the Yellow Pages or Anywho.com. They are similar to written phone books and you will be able to perform full name, location, and phone number searches.

3. Search social networks, such as Facebook and MySpace and Twitter to find the person that you are looking for. You may have to sign up for a free account to gain more in-depth access to these websites.

4. Post messages online on social networks or other online message boards that you are looking for someone and any other important identifying information about the person. Somebody might recognize the person who you are looking for and be able to connect you with him.
