DATABASE BACKUP PROCEDURE IN THE ENTERPRISE MANAGER

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Follow these steps
     Right Click on the Database that you want to back-up
     Highlight All Tasks
     Highlight Backup Database
     In SQL Server Backup screen and click on Add

  2. Step 2

     Click on the ellipse (three dots) and select the Backup destination and the name of the file, (which recommended to be the same as the name of the Database itself).
     In the Backup Device Location next to File name and type in the name of how you want to save Database As.

    For Example: Type GDB_01_001BACKUP.BAK and then click OK

  3. Step 3

     Click OK on the Select Backup Destination and hit OK again on the SQL Server Backup. Once the Backup Progress Bar gets completed, click OK when Backup in Completed
     If you’re Backing-up on you local station the default will be save in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Backup\
    Note:
    You can schedule automatic backup by setting the time schedule.
