Things You'll Need:

• Nail polish
• Top coat (quality is important)
• Nail Buff and Shine Block
• Q-tips
• Nail Polish Remover

1. First you will want to use the buff and shine block on your nails, do not skip any steps as this gives your nail a better surface for the color to adhere to.

2. Paint your nails the color of your choice. Contrary to popular belief the brand of nail polish used is not very important. Remember to do two coats of color allowing adequate time to dry. If you have areas on your hands which have become stained from the nail polish simply pour some of the nail polish remover into it's cap, dip a q-tip into the cap and gently brush away all unwanted polish.

3. Apply two layers of a good top coat, a pretty good brand you can find at most drug stores is Sally Hansen.

Tips & Warnings

• If you want professional quality top coats go to a beauty supply store such as Sally's.
• If you do not allow adequate time for your nails to dry between coats of color and your top coat you will cause some of the color to come off as nail polish can remove nail polish (odd but true).
