Creating do it yourself wedding invitations from printable templates can be an easy way to add a personal touch for that special occasion.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • adobe reader software
  • card stock or other high quality paper
  • caligraphy pen
  • scissors
  • letter stencils
  • graphics icons
  1. Step 1

    Download your wedding invitations template using adobe reader software program. Many templates can be found online and many are free to download yourself.

  2. Step 2

    Order your template with designs already made or you can do it yourself using a standard blank wedding invitations template.

  3. Step 3

    Insert your choice of high quality paper or card stock into a digital laser printer. The standard size for most anniversary invitations is 81/2 " by 11" but you can make it any size that suits you.

  4. Step 4

    Another option if you do not feel you have a quality graphics printer you can print a copy on plain white paper a take it to a copy business to duplicate more professionally designed wedding invitations.

  5. Step 5

    Now carefully fold your finished wedding invitations and trim the edges to your liking. You can then use a variety of techniques to add a personal touch to your invitations. You can use calligraphy if you have good penmanship or download photos, icons, or letter stencils to personalize these invitations yourself.

Tips & Warnings
  • Copy shops can be an inexpensive way to create more professional finished invitations using your printable designs. Some shops will even fold and score the edges for you.
  • Use a photos or art to attach to the front of your wedding invitations for a unique effect.
