Retain your receipt and clothes tags. As with any store, returning your clothes to Abercrombie and Fitch with the receipt and tags makes it a very smooth transaction.

Shop at Abercrombie and FitchSpeak to the manager if the employee does not allow you to return your clothes. If the manager does not agree to accept the returned clothing, request a customer service card and make note of the employee and manager’s name.

Call customer service. Explain the reason for needing to return the items. Using the term “manufacturing defect” seems to be the magic words that opens the door for returning clothes at Abercrombie and Fitch.

Buying ClothesShip the product back to Abercrombie and Fitch. If you made an online purchase, you can either ship the clothing back to them or bring it into the nearest location. Keep in mind; however, they do not refund the original shipping and handling charges for online purchases. If you don’t have your receipt, they will credit your method of payment with the last known price for the item.
