It's a very powerful tool for fighting food cravings because of it's ability to help people build healthy eating habits. Hypnotherapy is proven to help people with overpowering urges to overeat while giving them more incentive to exercise regularly. Lose weight with hypnosis and stop fighting the up and down battle with pounds.

  1. Step 1

    To lose weight with hypnosis, find a reputable hypnotist in your area who specializes in helping people lose weight. Ask your friends and relatives if they know a reputable hypnotist. Find out how long the person has been in business. Ask to see their credentials.

    Find a hypnotist for weight loss through the American Association of Professional Hypnotherapists at www.aaph.org.

  3. Step 3

    Try doing self-hypnotherapy to lose weight with hypnosis. Find a quiet place each day, close your eyes, and relax. Imagine yourself thin, healthy, and beautiful. Also, try Google searching self-hypnosis for weight loss. There is a lot of free information on the Internet about how to use self-hypnosis for weight loss. Try different techniques until you find one that works well for you.

  4. Step 4

    Lose weight with hypnosis by becoming aware of how things manifest in your life. Start keeping a journal about your attitude toward your physical body. Write about the changes you want to make. Writing is an excellent therapeutic tool to bring about change in your life through self-hypnotherapy.

  5. Step 5

    To lose weight with hypnosis, do some research on hypnotherapy. In theory, it works by bringing people into an hypnotic state with reduced peripheral awareness where they become open to suggestion.
