Printing valentine's day cards is a great way to save money and to create a personalized valentine's day card or greeting card for your significant other and friends and family. With a few quick and easy steps you can be printing cards in no time!

You can even use this to print other greeting cards and free invitations! Greeting cards are a great thing to send to people.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • computer
  • printer
  • paper
  1. Step 1

Finding a program to use - There are several programs you can use to print greeting cads. They have a greeting card format/template that you can use to make cards. For example

Microsoft Office - Invitation Template or search microsoft.com
Openoffice.org - Use a template and click get more templates online
Pages (mac's word processor) - Click cards and invitations and then choose the template you like.

  2. Step 2

Next is to design the card. You can use the clipart included in the programs, pictures you find online, background images and colors, shapes. Everything is basically designable. Each word processor has functions to add pictures shapes colors and even music and sounds if you send it electronically. Google.com is a great place to search for images. Valentines day cards have to be creative.

  3. Step 3

You can also do this online. Sites may have free predesigned valentines cards or greeting cards or let you choose or design your own. Some of these sites include

    123greetings.com
    hallmark.com
    egreetings.com
    bluemountain.com

  4. Step 4

You need to find greeting card paper. Goto google.com and search for greeting card paper. You can get different places that make it and different prices. In the references, I show an example of HP Greeting Card Paper. Pricegrabber is a good place to search for prices. If you dont want to use greeting card paper, any regular paper will be okay or some kind of harder paper, like cardboard paper.

  5. Step 5

You want to make sure your printer is set to use greeting card paper. If not, find a suitable setting for the paper you use.
    Enjoy!
