So you want to know if you got pregnant! For hours now, you have been searching online for different symptoms that might give you an answer one way or another. Stop here. The bottom line is, you will become obsessed with searching for answers, but you won't find the answer to your case until you either miss a period and/or take a pregnancy test. Since you are probably driving yourself crazy already, here is how I knew I was pregnant two weeks before my first missed period with both my pregnancies (Feel free to ask a question at the bottom for me to answer!):

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Did you have sex while you were ovulating? Not sure? Check out http://www.ehow.com/how_4784371_knocked-up-now.html.

  2. Step 2

Are your breast sore? They should feel a little more sore than normal if you're pregnant. I know you are probably thinking that your breasts are sore every month and how are you suppose to know what the difference is. There really isn't a difference. That's why looking for "signs" is stressful because they all just seem like PMS.

  3. Step 3

Have you been falling on your face tired? Pregnancy tiredness is much more different than just being sleepy. When you get home from work, you don't just need to rest for a while. You don't want to even get into pajamas. You're crawling to bed. You're sleeping before you hit the bed. You're that tired.

  4. Step 4

The one TRUE sign of pregnancy that I experienced TWICE was a feeling that I had "behind my bellybutton." This is one sign that I had that I never experienced with a period. If I had that symptom right now, I would be absolutely sure that I was pregnant. This feeling is a "pulling" sensation that happens right behind your bellybutton. I felt like I had to keep sticking my finger in my bellybutton. The pulling was in that area (inside your belly, behind your bellybutton) on and off during the day for about four days. After I experienced that sensation with both pregnancies, I wondered why I never saw this symptom/sign anywhere online. And this is how I knew I was pregnant twice, two weeks before my missed period and before taking a pregnancy test.

Tips & Warnings
  • Period and pregnancy symptoms are about the same
  • If you suspect that you are pregnant, stop drinking and smoking now.

on 12/13/2009 So the belly button is the key symptom. It seems that the others could be confused with PMS. Thanks for sharing! 5*/Rec.
