How to Create Your Own Movie Posters

A common interest of movie fans is to create their own posters. The best way is to visit Block Posters and use their relativity simple method to create a poster.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A computer
  • 100 kbps or faster internet access
  • A modern web browser
  • A printer
  1. Step 1

    Once your computer is on, launch a web browser. Upon doing so, copy and paste or type in http://www.blockposters.com/ into the address bar. After loading the page, scroll down on the site and click "click here to start".

    Next, click the "browse button" and select a photo from your computer. (Note: If you do not have a JPEG or GIF photo you want to make a poster of, open a new web page and download the photo you would like.) Select open and load the next page by clicking continue.

    Afterword, you may select specifications as to how your photo will look printed out. Fill out how many pages wide you want the poster, if you want it in portrait or landscape, and if you will be printing on A4 or Letter paper. Click "Continue".

    Once the new page loads, click "Click here to download a PDF file containing your images". A PDF of your poster pages should be opened. Click print and print off the PDF files.

    Tape, glue, or simply lay together the pages of your poster. Try cutting all of the extra white space away to insure the best looks.

Tips & Warnings
  • Double sided tape works best for putting the pages together.
  • The poster look best when it is hung up.
  • The photos may not be of extremely high quality if you did not use a large photo. Try experimenting with the number of pages you use before taping the final picture together
