Things You'll Need:

  • Nail gun
  • Appropriate nail cartridges
  • Safety goggles
  • Ear protection
  1. Step 1
    Battery pack removed from nail gun
     
    Battery pack removed from nail gun

    Unplug your nail gun or remove the battery pack. This will prevent your nail gun from accidentally firing while you are loading it and causing you injury.

  2. Step 2
    Engaging the locking mechanism
     
    Engaging the locking mechanism

    Engage the locking mechanism by moving lever into the proper position. This also prevents the nail gun from accidentally firing while you are loading the nails.

  3. Step 3

    Point the nail gun in a safe direction prior to loading. It should pointing away from you. Also, make certain you are not inadvertently pointing it toward another person in the room.

  4. Step 4
    Opening the magazine

    Depress the magazine release and pull the magazine back.

  5. Step 5
    Inserting the nails

    Insert the nails into the magazine with the tips facing outward.

  6. Step 6
    Closing the magazine
     
    Closing the magazine

    Push the magazine closed until it locks into place.

  7. Step 7

    Replace the battery pack or insert the plug back in your nail gun. Disengage the lock-off. You are now ready to use your nail gun. Have fun but use your nail gun safely.

  • Read your instruction manual thoroughly before attempting to load or use your nail gun.
  • Always wear eye and ear protection when working with your nail gun.
