Instructions
  1. Step 1

One of the easiest things to do to slow down the process of global warming is by changing your home's light bulbs. Try changing them to compact fluorescent bulbs. Your bulbs will last longer as well as conserve energy use, which is vital to slow down global warming.

  2. Step 2

You can also turn off all appliances and electronics that you do not use. For example, turn off your computer if you don't use it. A lot of us have a bad habit of just keeping it on. Turn off your television if you are not watching it. It is also advisable to unplug them as well.

  3. Step 3

Cars emit a lot of harmful chemicals in the air that increase global warming. If you can, try car pooling or walking. Ride a bike if you can. Not only will it save gas, but you will get healthier by exercising! Another option is to buy a better car that emits less chemicals. These can include investing in hybrids and diesel cars.

  4. Step 4

Lastly, one of the best ways to prevent global warming on our Earth is by planting lots of trees. Trees help absorb carbon dioxide, thus reducing global warming. You can also recycle paper, plastic, glass, etc.
