1
Select an assortment of either fresh or silk flowers. Fresh flowers are useful for aroma, while silk flowers provide you with a permanent arrangement. You can select as few or as many flowers as you want for a tabletop arrangement.
-
2
Bundle the stems of the flowers together and wrap them with florist tape. Wrap in a downward spiral from just beneath the blossoms until the entire stem parts of the flowers are concealed.

-
3
Snip the ends of the stems straight across with the scissors. Cut the stems down until the flower bundle fits adequately in the base you have chosen. Choose either a vase, fishbowl or something else to serve as your arrangement's base.
-
4
Place the wrapped bundle of flowers into the base you've chosen. Fan the blossoms out slightly to enhance the appearance.
-
5
Add some optional embellishments to your flower arrangement. A bow around the base adds color and texture to the arrangement. You can also spray glitter on the foliage or flower petals. Inserting random pieces of foliage such as eucalyptus shoots is also a nifty and ornate idea.
