Black bean soup is so good and good for you. This soup can be ready in no time! And, with a salad and some corn bread it's a great weeknight time saver meal.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • One can seasoned black beans
  • One can beef broth
  • 1/4 cup of rice
  • 1/2 envelope of onion soup mix
  1. Step 1

    At our Dollar store, we have a whole section of Mexican foods. For one dollar you can get a can of Black Beans that have been seasoned with onion, jalapeno, tomatoes and salt. Pour this undrained, into a medium saucepan.

  2. Step 2

    Add one can of beef broth, 1/2 an envelope of onion soup mix and 1/4 cup of rice.

  3. Step 3

    Cover and let this come to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes. It's great with cornbread.
    This really is this easy to make, but for the word count eHow is making me add 36 more words, so I hope you enjoy eating this for dinner some night really, really, really, really, soon. =}
