How to Straighten Natural Hair

You will learn how to get super straight and shiny and healthy hair, without using damaging chemicals.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Shampoo and Conditioner of your choice (Best for your hair type)
  • Towel
  • Wide tooth comb
  • Fine-tooth comb
  • Hair gloss serum
  • Ion Hair Dyer
  • Ion Flat Iron
  • Hair Clips
  • Hair Lotion
  1. Step 1

    Start off by combing through your hair to get and loose strands out.

  2. Step 2

    Shampoo and Condition hair according to directions. When using a conditioner its best to leave on for about 20-40 min. while wearing a hair cap. Also its best to rinse with cold water to give your hair a boost of shine!

  3. Step 3

    After Conditioning towel dry hair, and try not to rub the towel all over the hair but start from the ends and work your way up to reduce frizz.

  4. Step 4

    Apply Hair Lotion evenly to roots to ends.

  5. Step 5

    Blow dry but in sections using hair clips to hold each section while working with one. Its best to have about 3 to 6 sections to ensure all hair is dry and straight as possible.

  6. Step 6

    Apply Gloss Serum, and part hair in sections again and taking your flat iron go through each section until you have completed your final look.

Tips & Warnings
  • For products I use on my hair is: Profective Shampoo, Olive Oil Organics Conditioner pack, Olive Oil Organics Hair Lotion, and Profective Gloss Serum.
  • Chi Flat Irons, or any Ion Flat Iron is best for the hair reducing the damage dramatically!
  • Be careful when using any heating element.
  • Take caution to not use heating elements in or around water.
  • Be sure to turn OFF your heating elements once finished.

on 8/1/2009 I JUST LEARNED ABOUT THE PRODUCT PROFECTIVE, I THINK IT IS A REALLY GOOD LINE. I TRIED THE "LONG LENGTH RECOVERY LOTION", IMMEDIATELY FEELING & SEEING THE DIFFERENCE IN TEXTURE *SOFTER*, APPEARANCE & MOVEMENT (HEALTHIER & BOUNCY, LOTS OF BODY).
