Laptops are expensive. There are ways to save money and get a laptop that is just as good as new. Refurbished laptops are a great buy and can last as long as any brand new laptop.

  • Paypal account

  1. Step 1

    Sign in to your eBay account or register for free.

  2. Step 2

    Click on the link in the resource box to see all available refurbished laptops.

  3. Step 3

    Find a company that has a feedback rating of 97% or higher. This means you have a great chance of buying a laptop that is in excellent condition. Otherwise previous buyers would have complained and the score would be lower.

  4. Step 4

    Take a quick look to make sure there are more than 100 previous sales by that company. It will be next to the star by their user name.

  5. Step 5

    Find a refurbished laptop that has what you are looking for. Click on Watch Item. This will save the listing for you.

  6. Step 6

    Wait until the day the auction is set to end and place a bid. It helps to make a bid right at the end of the auction.

  7. Step 7

    Pay the seller by using your Paypal account. This is the fastest way and will ensure that the laptop gets send out as soon as possible.

  8. Step 8

    Leave feedback for future buyers to read.

Tips & Warnings
  • Email the seller with any questions at least two days before the end of the auction so they have time to answer you.
  • Make sure the seller offers a guarantee that you can return the laptop if you don't like it.
