Dress Appropriately While Being Pregnant

Are you pregnant and wondering how to dress appropriately? Some women do not always dress like they should when they are pregnant and that can draw some attention to them. Others dress as they should. Lets all dress moderately for the occasion while it lasts.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Maternity shirts/pants
  • Maternity shorts/skirts
  • Sweat pants/shirts
  • Larger sized clothing
  1. Step 1
    Regular clothes are okay.
    Regular clothes are okay.

At the beginning of your pregnancy you can continue to wear your old clothes. Just keep in mind that you should start thinking about the fact that during pregnancy you are only going to get bigger. Start planning on buying bigger sizes and maternity clothes throughout the nine months to come.

  2. Step 2

Depending on how your body reacts to the pregnancy, some may show at an early stage and others may not show until a later stage in pregnancy. You may begin to realize that your regular clothes are getting tight or to small by now. That means it's time to start buying the bigger clothes. You may only have to get a few sizes larger depending on how much you are showing.

  3. Step 3
Not to tight and not to loose.
Not to tight and not to loose.

You don't want to wear clothes that are to tight or small due to the fact that it gets very uncomfortable. Stretchy pants and sweatpants are ok to wear at this time. Some women choose not to buy maternity clothes, just to buy baggier clothes. Others may choose maternity clothes. It's all up to you. You also don't want to get clothes that are to large for you at the time. Get them so they fit you and you are comfortable wearing them.

Tips & Warnings
  • Wear clothes that are comfortable for you and your unborn child.
  • Wear clothes that fit your size, not the size that you would like to be.
  • The tighter your clothes are on you, the more uncomfortable you will feel.
  • If your clothes are to large for you, you may end up feeling like a "Bum" or "Scrubby"
