Actually take the time to read the article don't just skimp through the article.

Comment on the article, avoid stating nice, great article, and so forth. Be very detail in your comments. By commenting on the article the writer will definitely know who is reading his/her article will most likely return the favor or add as a friend. Well in my case I will definitely return the favor if someone leaves a comment on one of my articles.

Do you like this article? Then rate the article.

Do you love the article? Then recommend the writer.

Do you actually want to try out the steps that the article provides? Then add it to your favorites.

Step 6
Go click on the "Community Tab" on ehow then click on "Forum". Search for "Ehow Community Chatter" and add your new articles to a post identifying the current date of the articles.
For ex.
I wrote the current article on February 26th, so I will search for Ehow Community Chatter and look for a link called "February 26th Articles". Here I will add my new article to the post.

Any time I decide to catch up with my e-how friends by reading and rating at least one of each of their articles (just as I am doing now) I try to find one that I can really get something out of. I do try to leave personal messages for every one.
Really though, great article. Thanks for mentioning the Community Tab.
