Ever wanted a delicious recipe for Swedish meatballs? Well have I got one for you!!!!

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 lbs ground chuck meat
  • 3/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 tbsp minced parsley
  • 1 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup of milk
  • 3-6 tbsp oil for frying
  1. Step 1

    Believe it or not this was one of the first recipes I made when I was about 12 years old. It is very delicious and I enjoyed it.

  2. Step 2

    First you would need to mix all ingredients below and refrigerate for 2 hours.
    3 lbs ground chuck meat
    * 3/4 cup minced onion
    * 1 1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
    * 1 1/2 tbsp minced parsley
    * 1 1/4 tsp of salt
    * 1/2 tsp pepper
    * 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    * 2 eggs
    * 3/4 cup of milk
    * 3-6 tbsp oil for frying
    Make and fry meatballs; and set aside.

  3. Step 3

    Now let's make some sour cream sauce.
    3/4 cup flour
    1 1/2 tsp paprika
    3/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper
    3 cups of water
    1 1/2 cup of sour cream.

    Blend the flour, paprika salt and pepper into oil that was used for frying meatballs. Cook until smooth and blended. Stir constantly. Remove from heat and add water. Blend well and boil for 1 minute, stir constantly. Remove from heat; stir in sour cream. Add meatballs. Serve hot.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can substitute ground chuck for turkey meat for a healthier way.
  • Use olive oil instead of vegetable oil.
  • Skip on the sour cream sauce and go without.
