Things You'll Need:
- 1 lb. thick cut bacon
- 1 apple
- 1 pear
- 2 pkgs. crescent rolls
- Shredded cheese
-
Step 1
Fruit massacre. Start by peeling and chopping up the apple and pear into small chunks. The smaller the chunks, the better. Mix the apple and pear chunks together in a bowl and set aside.
-
Step 2
Is it getting hot in here? Check out your crescent roll packages and preheat the oven to what their cooking instructions require. Usually, it's about 375 F.
-
Step 3
This little piggy went into the frying pan. Open up your package of Bacon and start cooking. Follow the directions on the back of the package for proper cooking instructions. Nuke or stove, either way is fine. Once cooked and de-greaseified, crumble up all the bacon and add it to the apple-pear medley. Mix 'er up.
-
Step 4
Dough boy of Doom. After cracking open the impossible packaging, you want to separate the dough into 4 equal sections. Each piece needs to be flattened into a thin pancake form, kind of like transformers... but not as cool. Megatron didn't taste as good as this is going to either, so it's a trade off. Regardless, you'd like the pancake to be as wide as possible without tearing.
-
Step 5
Fill er' up. Making a bowl shape out of the dough in your curled hand, add a sprinkle of shredded cheese to the bottom. Then pack it full with the bacon/apple/pear medley to your heart's content. Once satisfied, stretch the ends of the dough over the heap of snacky goodness, and knead them together. Your final result should be a ball of dough with none of it's innards poking through.
-
Step 6
Into the flames of Mordor. Take the stuffed dough balls and place them on a baking sheet. Toss into the preheated stove, and wait in anticipation for the balls to become a wonderful shade of golden brown. Cooking times vary, but in 10-15 minutes they'll be ready to go.
-
Step 7
Order up! Take the tasty stuffed tidbits from the stove, and straight to the serving dishes. Sprinkle with some more shredded cheese, then offer them over to whomever you conned into eating your cooking.
