Make an Organic Vegeterian Homemade Mayonnaise

I truly consider a normal home to have a mayonnaise in its fridge. So I decided to represent a vegetarian homemade mayonnaise that will make your sandwich juicy while at the same time not jeopardize your diet. Per my calculation a tablespoon of the following mayonnaise, will sum up to 44 calories, 3-gram fat and 3 gram carbs. Good deal.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Quarter cup of fresh organic lemon juice;
  • Pinch of sea salt;
  • Two teaspoons prepared organic mustard (optional);
  • One cup of fresh breadcrumb;
  • Four cloves of minced organic garlic;
  • Third cup of virgin olive oil.
  1. Step 1

    Put the breadcrumbs in a small bowl, sprinkle it with an organic lemon juice and let it sit.

  2. Step 2

    Then, position the garlic and salt in the food processor, blend them to puree and add the virgin olive oil at a time through the feed tube while the machine running.

  3. Step 3

    Lastly, Mix them all together to a thick adhesive paste. This is the time to add and Stir in the mustard.

  4. Step 4

    Store covered in your refrigerator for up to 3 days. If the mayonnaise separates, simply stir it with a fork and restore it back.

  5. Step 5

    I think I am getting awfully hungry here...

  6. Step 6

    Enjoy it.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you prefers to use a mortar and pestle, pound the garlic and salt, add the lemon-soaked breadcrumbs, oil and mustard a few tablespoons at a time and pound them to a thick paste.
