The fifth mode of the harmonic minor scale may be a lesser-known mode, but learning to play this scale can be beneficial to any guitarist's technique and harmonic palette. Instructions

Step 1

Place the left-hand middle finger on the third fret of the fifth string. Pluck the note with a pick or right-hand finger.
