The Blackberry 7290 is an older device that can use only MIDI files for ringtones. But even with this simple type of audio file, you can still download ringtones to your computer and then transfer them to your Blackberry. However, you will need to use your device's email and web browsing capabilities to be able to enjoy your own personalized rings. First you need to identify the ringtones you like and send the links to them to your device's email, and then download the ringtones directly from your Blackberry's web browser.
