How to Design Your Own Air Force One Nike Shoes

Rather than purchase a pre-designed Nike Air Force One shoe, why not be original and create a custom one? These instructions will guide you in creating personalized basketball shoes for either yourself or your entire team.

Instructions

1. Go to the NIKEiD site (see Resources). Once the website opens, click on the "start blank" option.

2. Click on "size" and choose your size, width and quantity options from the pop-up menu.

3. Click on the "what's left?" option from from the right column, and from there you will be able to choose the colors and materials of your shoe.

4. Click on the first option, "base," and customize the material and color of the base to your liking. Repeat this step for the rest of the options under the title "color and material": overlay, foxing, accent, lining, lace, sidewall, outsole, sidewall stitching and contrast stitching.

5. Click on the "accessory" option under the "text" option to select the color of the shoe's accessory. Click "show me" and you will see what it will look like on the shoe. Then click on the "iD" option and enter whatever text you would like to be displayed on the sidewall of the shoe, up to a maximum of 16 characters, without spaces in between.

6. Once you've followed these steps, your unique Nike cleats will be finalized. If you want to purchase your creation, you will need to click "add to cart" and follow the checkout procedures.

Tips & Warnings

• The only customizable type of Air Force One Premium iD shoe available is the "low" variety. The Air Force Ones described above are for males.

• Only a limited number of NikeiD Air Force Ones are available online each day, so if the NikeiD store is sold out on any given day, you can simply revisit the website another day to create and buy your shoes. Orders take up to four weeks for delivery.
