Popping the board in the air, letting it spin beneath you and then regaining your footing before touching down should generate a few "oohs" and "aahs" from the crowd.

Difficulty: Moderately challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Skate Rails
  • Skateboard Decks
  • Skateboard Helmets
  • Skateboard Pads
  • Skateboard Parts
  • Skateboard Trucks
  • Skateboard Wheels
  • Skateboarding Shoes
  • Skateboards
  1. Step 1

Set your feet like you would for an ollie.

  2. Step 2

Pick a spot on the board for your front foot that is comfortable. Usually, the further back your front foot is, the higher it will go.

  3. Step 3

Push the tail down so it hits directly below you, but once it hits, push slightly forward and in front of you - which makes the board turn frontside under you.

  4. Step 4

Suck your legs up as you would for an ollie, and stay directly above the board as it turns under you.

  5. Step 5

Catch the board with your front foot once it has turned the full 180 degrees under you and is at the height of its flight.

  6. Step 6

Bring your rear foot back over the board as quickly as possible so both feet are on the board near the peak height of the trick.

  7. Step 7

Land with your feet over the bolts if possible.

Tips & Warnings
  • Many people like to do this trick starting with the board backward, so it is done off the nose of the board. Both ways work.
  • Skateboarding is an inherently dangerous activity that can result in serious injury or death. We recommend that you seek proper training and equipment before attempting this activity.
