How to Import Music From a CD Into a Samsung Juke
The Samsung Juke is a cell phone that also serves as a portable media player. Verizon Wireless customers can purchase music for the Samsung Juke on the V CAST website. You may also have songs on CDs that you would like to add to your Samsung Juke. Putting these songs on the Samsung Juke is rather easy and takes less than 15 minutes. By ripping the songs from the CD onto your computer, you can import music from a CD to a Samsung Juke.

Open Windows Media Player.

Put the audio CD into the CD drive of your computer.

Click the "Tools" option at the top of Windows Media Player. Select "Options" and a box will open. Click on the "Rip Music" tab. Click on the "Format" drop box in the "Rip settings" portion of the box. Change the rip settings to "mp3" and click "Apply." Then, click "OK" to close that box.

Click the "Rip" tab at the top of Windows Media Player. You will see the songs from the CD listed. Click on the box located to the left of each song to select (or deselect) that song. When you're ready, click "Start Rip" and the songs from the CD will be added to your computer. When the ripping process has completed, eject the CD and close Windows Media Player.

Turn the Samsung Juke on and then plug the phone into a USB port of your computer. Connect the phone to your computer via the USB cord that came with your V CAST music kit (see Resources below).

Open Windows Media Player again and a setup box for the Samsung Juke will appear. Type in a name for the phone in the text box that is located in the middle of the setup box. You can also leave the name "Samsung Juke" in the box if you wish. Click "Finish" when you're done.

Click the "Sync" tab at the top of Windows Media Player. Then, click the "Library" link that is located on the far left side of the program. Once you do, you can search for the music that you ripped from the CD. When you find the songs that you want to add to the Samsung Juke, click on those files and then drag them over to the "Sync List" that is found on the right side of Windows Media Player. Continue doing this until you are finished adding songs to the list. Click the "Start Sync" tab and the music will be added to your Samsung Juke.
