How to Download Pictures From a Motorola W385 Cell Phone

Many will agree that it's simply amazing to take a picture with your cell phone and then email it to your relatives and friends, or simply set it as a wallpaper on your PC. You can do all of that with your Motorola W385 cell phone on your computer.

Install Motorola Phone Tools 5.0 software on your computer, which can be purchased from the Motorola website (see Resources). It comes in a package with two USB cables.

Turn on your phone and connect it to your computer using USB Cable.

Open Motorola Phone Tools application. Then open the section called "File Transfer Studio."

Drag the picture files from the cell phone side to the computer side of the application.

Tips & Warnings
You can purchase a Bluetooth adapter, if you don't have it already, and transfer pictures wirelessly. This omits the steps that involve a USB cable.
Motorola Phone Tools is compatible with Microsoft Windows 2000, XP and Vista only.
Some wireless carriers require mobile users to send pictures to their online album, and then it can be downloaded to computer. There may be a fee charged for this service, so please contact your carrier
