How to Delete Windows XP
Uninstalling Windows XP allows the user to revert to an old operating system. This is, of course, if XP was installed over an older operating system. If there was no prior operating system, be sure you have the software to reinstall the operating system you want. Deleting Windows XP will wipe out the hard drive. Backup all critical data files before removing Windows XP.
