How to Make Silver Paper Boxes
Origami is the ancient art form of paper folding. The designs that can be created range from simple to intricate. The skill levels necessary to create these works of art vary as well.
Here is a very simple origami paper box. This box is easy to make and is made special by using a metallic silver paper. Any size paper can be used to create various sized boxes with lids.

Start with either a square or a rectangular shapeed piece of silver paper. Experiment with the size of the paper and how this corresponds to the size of the finished box.
Fold the silver paper in half and open again. Fold each half toward the center fold.

Turn the silver paper one quarter turn and repeat Step 1. After the second fold open the paper again.

Fold each corner in. Do not go beyond the fold lines created from the second fold in Step 2. These corner folds should not represent more than a third of the width of the paper.

Fold the edges from the middle fold over the trianglular folds made in Step 3 to make a straight line fold.

Slowly and carefully, pull out the sides over the middle fold to make the edges and corners strong. The corners need to be 90 degree angles.
This completes the bottom of the silver paper box.

Make the box lid in the same way as the box bottom except it will be necessary to leave a small amount of extra space in the center during the initial fold from Step 1 to make the lid larger.
