How to Erase Memory on a Samsung Juke
The Samsung Juke is a cell phone that is offered only to Verizon Wireless customers. As with many other Verizon Wireless phones, the Samsung Juke also acts as a portable music player. If you are experiencing problems playing music on the Juke, it may be wise to erase the memory from the phone. To do this, you will need to format the Juke. Formatting your Samsung Juke is something that can easily be done by using Windows Media Players. Use this method to erase memory from a Samsung Juke.

Download Windows Media Player if it is already not on your computer.

Turn your Samsung Juke on and connect the phone to your computer via the USB cable that came with the V CAST Music kit.

Open Windows Media Player after you have connected the Samsung Juke to your computer. The "Device Setup" box will appear on the screen. Type in a name for the Samsung Juke in the text box and then click "Finish."

Allow Windows Media Player to fully load and your Samsung Juke to sync with the program. Once these two things happen, click the "Sync" tab at the top of the program. You should see the name that you entered in the previous step and a portable media player icon in the top right portion of Windows Media Player. If you don't, right click on the Sync tab and select "Refresh Devices."

Right click on the Sync tab and place your cursor over the name of the Samsung Juke that you entered in step 3. This should be the fourth listed option. When you do this, a drop box with several options will appear.

Select "Format." You will then receive a message alerting you that formatting your Samsung Juke will erase all date from the phone. Click "OK" and your Samsung Juke will begin to format.
