  1. How to Assemble Your Doughboy Pool

    • 1

Locate a clear, flat section of your yard where you want to install your Doughboy pool. Check for any rocks or obstructions that could cause your pool liner to rip or crack. Level out any bumps in the ground. Rake the ground to remove any unseen debris.

    • 2

Lay out all parts to make sure you are not missing any equipment. Stretch the liner out in the location you wish to install your pool. Check for the position of skimmer and return port so that they are positioned in the right area. Lay out piping around the liner according to the manufacturer's instructions.

    • 3

Install the U-pipes into the bottom sleeves of the pool liner. Beginning at one of the corners, insert a top pipe into the liner sleeve, leaving one end sticking out. Continue around the pool, connecting the top pipes to each other. Make sure the pipes snap into place. As you get to each corner, connect a corner pipe and continue around the pool until you have reached your starting point.

    • 4

Insert all standpipes into the U-pipes, making sure they snap into place. Lift each side and lower top pipe holes (located under the top pipes) onto the standpipes. Make sure the pool liner is not pinched into one of the pipes. Connect stand pipe bases to each of the standpipes, again making sure they snap into place. Make sure the guide rails are engaged and locked on each of the standpipe bases.

    • 5

Assemble pool ladder and place in correct position. Fasten ladder to the pool with straps provided. Unpack and install filter pump and skimmer equipment as instructed by manufacturer. Once all pumps and filters have been positioned and installed, stretch out liner to remove any creases or folds.

    • 6

Begin filling your pool and check with manufacturer's instructions for any further maintenance procedures. Once pool is filled, you are ready to start relaxing in that nice cool water.

Tips & Warnings

  • For easier access and maintenance, keep pool at least 6 feet from fences and shrubbery. When raising the sides of the pool, it is recommended that you have a second person to help.

  • Make sure your pool site is clear of any hazards like power lines.
