How to Hang a Folding Door
Bifold or folding doors come in a variety of styles and sizes, including louvered, plain and decorative panel. They're commonly used on closets because they can be opened all the way so that everything in the closet is visible. Since they don't swing out, they save space in small rooms. Fit and install the top track and slide the hanging hardware onto it. Make sure the track is perfectly level. Use shims if needed.

Attach the door pulls and align the doors if necessary. Adjust the track sockets to make them fit evenly. Raise or lower the doors by changing the height of the lower pivot pin.
