Once you hook up your PS3 to a wireless router, you can begin using many of the system's features, including Internet browsing and online gaming through the PlayStation Network.

      Turn on your PlayStation 3 console and navigate to the "Settings" option in the PS3's main menu.

      Select "Network Settings" from the "Settings" sub-menu. Then, select "Internet Connection Settings."

      Select "Yes" when prompted to continue.

      Choose the "Easy" setup option in the next screen.

      Choose "Wireless" from the list of connection methods.

      Choose "Scan" to search for your connection. The PS3's wireless network adapter will present a list of available networks.
