How to Make a Website on Education
Whether you are a teacher, a researcher or a parent of home-schooled children, making a website about education does not have to be a daunting task. Websites that focus on education can cover such topics as education news, educational resources, classroom support and research. A teacher can have a website for students to use when they're not in class, and it can include homework assignments and other information. (Parents can use the website, too.)

How to Make a Website on Education
-
1
Keep it simple. In designing the website, you'll have to decide whether to use pure HTML or a web editor such as Dreamweaver. Strive for straightforward headlines and clean navigation. Avoid animation or constantly flashing elements. Don't use background music, and use lots of plain white or dark space to highlight specific text boxes.
-
2
Focus the content. For example, if the focus is on a school, the website should have information about the school, the curriculum and the staff.

3
Apply for a .edu site extension. If you do not already have a URL or domain name for your education website, consider investing in an .edu domain. The .edu extension is limited to noncommercial education sites. Private schools are often limited to .com or .org sites rather than .edu. In the United States, websites with an .edu extension are considered reputable resources of information.

4
Examine other education-based websites for ideas. Check out local school districts' sites and other sites, including Garland Christian Academy and Sylvan Learning.

5
Use images wisely. If your website targets elementary ages (see Smithsonian Education), use photos that are more brightly colored than the images on sites that target middle and high school students.
