How to Get Rid of All Limewire Downloads in PC

LimeWire is a free peer-to-peer file-sharing network. It is written in the Java programming language and uses the Gnutella network to find and share files. LimeWire allows users to download music and videos for free. LimeWire offers a Pro package and has recently opened an online LimeWire Store, where you can purchase music files for 99 cents. Some people are becoming leery of LimeWire, because with the free music and videos, viruses are catching a ride.

Instructions

1. Click the "Start" button on the desktop.

2. Click "Computer." This opens the My Computer window.

3. Double-click the "C" drive.

4. Open the "Users" folder.

5. Open the "%User%" folder. %User% represents the login folder that LimeWire is installed on.

6. Open the "Documents" folder.

7. Open the "LimeWire" folder. Delete all files from the "Incomplete," "Saved" and "Store Purchased" folders.
