How to create your own personal myspace account.

Log in to www.myspace.com and click on Sign-up. Fill out the form and click on join myspace. Click on Browse button and upload photo to page. If you would like to add your friends to your page, click on the find friends button and select your e-mail provider, otherwise click on skip for now.

Click on the pick your myspace url once your profile page opens. Choose your URL and confirm. Click on sign out button and go to your email address to confirm registration from myspace. Click on the confirmation link which will take you back to the sign in page. Enter your Email address and password and then click Log In. Once email is verified, click on return to home.

Open up a new window and search for myspace layouts or backgrounds. Once you find a background that you like, copy the code by highlighting and pressing Ctrl+C. Pull up your myspace page and click on Edit Profile. Click in the "About Me" box and press Ctrl+V. This will enter the code onto your myspace page for your background. click on Save Changes to confirm the code before you leave the page. When you have a confirmation that the page has been changed, click on view my profile to verify the background has been transferred to your page.

Click on Edit Profile and then click Account Settings. Start with the Privacy tab on top and enter your preferences. When your finished, click on Save All Changes. Choose the next item to the right and enter your preferences and save. Work your way across the column in blue until you have completed all your account settings. Click on Edit Profile and fill in Personal information.

Open up a new window and search for myspace graphics. Search for any graphics you would like to use to decorate your new webpage. Copy the codes as you did before with the background and paste the codes on the Edit profile page in any of the boxes. Remember to always click on Save Changes before exiting the page. To add friends or join groups, click on the drop down menus on the header and follow the instructions. Have fun and enjoy your new personal webpage.
