By default, JavaScript should be enabled on Internet Explorer, the web browser that is included with all new PCs running Windows XP or Vista. However, if you find that the JavaScript option has been disabled, you can turn it back on. With JavaScript enabled, you will have access to more interactive content on certain web pages.

Open Internet Explorer from the "All Programs" list in the Start menu.

Click on the "Tools" button and choose "Internet Options."

Go to the "Security" tab at the top of the pop-up window and click on the "Internet" icon.

Click on the "Custom Level" button at the bottom of the pop-up window and scroll down to the scripting options.

Choose "Enable" for the active scripting option and click "OK" to save the changes. JavaScript is now turned on in Internet Explorer.
