How to Connect a VCR Player to Computer Speakers
If you have an old VCR and an old pair of computer speakers, you can hook them up to create a secondary movie viewing room. The connection is quite simple, though the sound will fall far short of an IMAX theater. All you really need is the right cable and you can get the speakers hooked to your VCR.

Tips & Warnings
The VCR's audio outputs are line level, meaning there is no amplification. For this reason, you'll need powered computer speakers to provide the amplification.
