Uninstall the Limewire Plus Toolbar

Downloading Limewire Plus, a file sharing program which contains no spyware or adware, may result in an unwanted toolbar appearing in your web browser. It is possible to remove this toolbar, while still keeping the Limewire program installed.

Instructions

    • 1

      Open the "Start" menu in left hand side of the task bar along the bottom of your screen's desktop.

      Select "Control panel" from the options that appear.

    • 3

      Choose "Add or remove programs" in the new window.

    • 4

      Scroll down the list of currently installed programs until you see "Limewire Toolbar."

    • 5

      Highlight this to reveal an option which says "Remove." Click this button. A window will then pop up asking you if you are sure you want to remove this program. Click "yes."
