How to Set Up a Metal Queen Size Bed Frame
Did you know that there are different sizes of queen mattresses and box springs? A standard queen size is 60 by 80 inches, but there are also custom sizes, so measure before you buy a frame. While most metal bed frames look like a rectangle when they are set up, a queen size frame should also have a support beam in the middle. Otherwise the mattress could sag in the middle over time and become very uncomfortable. Without this support beam, many mattress manufacturers will not honor their warranty. So before you go shopping, measure your mattress and don't buy a frame without the center support. Does this Spark an idea?
