How to Remove Car Dents With Dry Ice

While a minor dent in a car isn't a major problem, it does take away from its looks. Bringing your car to an auto repair shop can be expensive, and it may not be necessary. With just a few minutes of spare time, removing a dent is an easy fix that won't cost a lot of money.

Things You'll Need

• Dry ice Protective gloves Clean nonabrasive cloth

Instructions

1. Put on protective gloves. Hold dry ice on the center of the dent for five to 10 seconds.

2. Remove the ice and allow it about a minute to fix itself.

3. Reapply the dry ice a second time if the dent is still there.

4. Allow it a minute for the rest of the dent to pop out. If it is still there, repeat this process until the dent is completely gone.

5. Wipe down the area once the dent is gone with a clean nonabrasive cloth.
