How to Download Microsoft Powerpoint

Downloading PowerPoint

Open the web browser. Enter the web address <http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint/default.aspx?ofcresset=1> into the address field of the web browser and press "Enter" on the keyboard. There is a direct link in Resources.

Click the "Free 60 Day Trial" option located on the left side of the screen as in Image 1 and click the "Download Now" button that appears on the screen.

Complete the registration information required on screen. This information is necessary for Microsoft to send the registration code to the correct email address.

Click the "Download Now" button that appears on screen as in Image 2.

Save the file to the desktop of the Windows computer by clicking on the "Save" button on the dialogue box that appears as in Image 3. This saves the PowerPoint Downloader Program to your computer.

Double click the Downloader program on the desktop, which can be identified with a specific icon, shown in Image 4. The computer will ask for permission to run the software and the user will need to click "Run" on the dialogue box that appears.

Watch the Downloader program to verify that the software is downloading, as shown in Image 5. As the software is saved to the computer the Downloader program will display the amount of information downloaded until the process is complete. Note: The PowerPoint installation file will run automatically if the you do not uncheck the box telling the system to "Run file when done."
