Step 1
Determine your location eligibility. Mega is a licensed health insurance provider in all states except New York, so you will not be able to obtain Mega health insurance if you live in the state of New York.

If you meet the location requirements, visit the Mega Health Insurance website at www.megainsurance.com and click on "Get a Quote." The next page will prompt you to enter your ZIP code for personalized recommendations. Enter your ZIP code and click "Go."

Enter the personal and health information required to customize your quote. You will need to provide your name, mailing address, phone number and answer a number of questions regarding your medical situation. Be prepared to provide information on your current health insurance, your employment status, your dependents and whether or not you are a smoker. Click "Submit" after you have entered all of the required information.

Step 4
Wait for a call from Mega Health Insurance, which will likely occur one to three business days after you submit the quote form. A representative will contact you to set up an appointment where you can review your quote and sign the application if you decide to move forward with Mega Health Insurance.

Step 5
After you submit your application, wait for a letter from Mega that should arrive within 14 business days. This letter will confirm your application and indicate whether or not you have been approved for coverage. If the company requires additional information or you did not fill out the application completely, it may take up to six weeks to receive your letter. Your health insurance card and certificate of coverage will arrive within 10 business days after the start of your health insurance coverage.
