Step 1
Find an oil-free eye makeup remover that will wipe eye shadow, eye liner and mascara away without a greasy residue and leave your eyes ready for makeup application in the morning. Many varieties also include aloe to soothe and refresh without drying the delicate skin around your eyes.
-
Step 2
Choose the best eye makeup remover that features moisturizers if you suffer from dryness around the eyes. Ingredients like green tea and cucumber will moisturize, while additional components like mineral oil or wheat germ oil will not only soften your skin, but also condition your lashes.
-
Step 3
Select the best eye makeup remover specially formulated to wash waterproof mascara, if needed. Consider a dual-action product that break up the durable mascara and wipe the traces away without requiring you to tug on your eyelids or lower lash area.
-
Step 4
Look for a lightweight, ophthalmologist-approved eye makeup remover if you wear contact lenses or have sensitive eyes. The best eye makeup remover for sensitive eyes will often feature ingredients to dissolve eye makeup and remove excess oil, while being thimerosal free to avoid irritation. Note that extremely gentle products aren’t designed to remove waterproof mascara, however.

on 3/1/2009 Clinique's "take the day off" is my fav! It's a facial make-up remover, not just for eyes. I'll try the other one you suggest here, for water-proof make-up removal, that is the hardest stuff to get off!5*
