Things You'll Need:
- cell phone
- calendar
- schedule book
-
Step 1
First, use your cell phone. Go to your tools menu, then bring up your calendar. Did you know you can record events and have an alarm remind you in advance when they come up? Insert every birth date into your cell phone's calendar, and set the alarm to go off anywhere from one week to one day in advance. Make sure you pick a time you will always be available to answer and not interrupt a meeting or sleep.
-
Step 2
If you don't already, use a dry-erase board at home to keep your events in order. Use a different color to keep track of all the birthdays that month.
-
Step 3
Write birthdays in your schedule planner in colored ink you wouldn't use for anything else. You may also use stickers, if you wish, or highlighter. Whatever catches your eye that you don't already use as a method of organization with work.
-
Step 4
Lastly, there are several websites that keep track of birthdays for you. Some, for a small fee, even send cards in the mail for you! Just click on when you want to be reminded, and you will get a notice delivered to your email requesting you to pick out the card to be mailed. It's that easy!
