Learn to make this easy and healthy alternative to regular french fries. Super quick to make and tastes wonderful. You will feel like you are eating gourmet fries. My whole family loves them.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2-3 Sweet Potatoes
  • Oil
  • Garlic Powder or Salt
  • Parmesan Cheese
  1. Step 1

First you need to take your sweet potatoes and cut them into strips for your fries. Make them any length or thickness you desire. I leave the skin on mine, but feel free to skin your potatoes if you so desire.

  2. Step 2

In a bowl, mix your sweet potato fries with enough vegetable oil to coat them. I prefer a nice virgin olive oil (healthier).

  3. Step 3

Now season your oiled sweet potato fries with garlic powder or garlic salt and some parmesan cheese. There is no real rule of thumb for how much seasoning...really depends upon your own liking. I prefer garlic salt, but if you want to avoid sodium then just go with the powder.

  4. Step 4

Now, layer your oiled and sasoned sweet potato fries onto a baking sheet and bake in a pre-heated oven at 400 degrees. Bakes for approximately 20 minutes (longer if you desire extra crispy).

  5. Step 5

Now serve and enjoy your healthy fries. They really do taste wonderful.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can always add some seasoning after the fact, so if you are worried, start light.
  • No need to spray your baking sheet as your fries are coated in oil.
