High blood pressure is known as a silent killer. The risk of death can be present but unnoticeable. So if you are a victim of high blood pressure, it's time to step up and take control of your health by reducing your high blood pressure.

    Stop or significantly reduce your addictions. If you use nicotine, then quit. Yes it's not as easy as it sounds, but neither is death. Nicotine contributes to high blood pressure and stopping its ingestion will reduce your high blood pressure. If you drink alcohol, then cut back, especially if you are a heavy drinker, as heavy alcohol consumption causes high blood pressure.

  2. Step 2

    Lose some fat. If you are overweight you may have a higher risk of blood pressure. So, by losing weight you will reduce your blood pressure.   3. Step 3

    Lower your stress. Stress is a well-known cause of high blood pressure. So if you can reduce your stress level, you can reduce your high blood pressure. Unfortunately, this may mean you will have to drastically change your lifestyle by either changing your job or by moving to a more serene environment.
