Step 1
healthy weight loss programsIf it sounds too good to be true it usually is.
Every day we are bombarded with weight loss ads trying to sell us the next greatest thing. You probably have heard an ad like: Lose 53 pounds in 12 days eating what you want or Lose 23 lbs of fat in 2 weeks as seen on NBC.
We’ve all seen them and the problem is some people actually buy into them. When you see these types of ads just ignore them, they’re trying to get you to emotionally buy the product. -
Step 2
best weight loss programsYou can’t eat whatever you want.
Let’s face it we would all love to gorge on fast food and desserts. Problem is we have this thing called our metabolism that determines how many calories we burn. Again if you see a weight loss program claiming that you can eat all you want, run away. -
Step 3
lose weight fastTaking a diet pill won’t make you skinny.
Seriously, if diet pills worked so great why are they always coming out with the next best one? Wouldn’t everyone just make the same pill? Wouldn’t we all just take a pill to lose weight? Bottom line is some diet pills, (most are scams), can help supplement a weight loss program but they won’t do much by themselves. -
Step 4
best weight loss programsDon’t be fooled by scientific jargon.
Marketing firms are masters of word manipulation. By leaving out key information marketing firms can make you believe a weight loss program is backed up by scientific evidence. Most of the time they are either stretching the truth or outright lying about the research that they claim supports their product. Just like tip number one if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. -
Step 5
fat burningWeight loss does not equal fat loss.
A common misconception people have is that weight loss means fat loss. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Weight fluctuates throughout the day depending on how much water you are retaining. You ever wonder why you gained weight but your diet didn’t change? The most likely culprit was probably your sodium intake that caused you to retain water.
Don’t be fooled by all of these weight loss programs promising you to lose weight fast. Losing a bunch of water weight is easy; losing a bunch of fat weight is not. Concern yourself with how you look and not how much you weigh. -
Step 6
diet plansNot all diet plans are created equal.
All of the best weight loss programs include some sort of diet plan. Chances are they will all work. What separates them are not which ones help you to lose weight but which ones teach you how to keep it off. Losing weight fast is fairly easy, keeping it off is not. Before you choose a weight loss program make sure that it talks about how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. -
Step 7
fat burning exercisesNot all exercises are the same.
It’s always easy for people to say go exercise if you want to lose weight. Problem is most people don’t know how to do exercises that promote fat burning. A common myth people have is doing cardio will help you burn the fat. It will but you have to do a lot of it to burn sufficient calories to make a difference.
There are two ways to really kick up the fat burning and they are interval training and weight lifting. The best weight loss programs will incorporate one or both of these methods for better and more effective weight loss. -
